Perfect to study at night or read a book etc. Wish I had gotten the white color instead so it can match the bed colors but besides that the quality of this light is great.
I bought a different light and within a day the cheap "hi-tech" switch stopped switching between warm and cool light and sometimes wouldn't turn the light on at all. This one, though only offering two light types (cool and warm) and two brightness settings (dim and bright) actually has a physical switch which should be much more reliable. Perfect for illuminating my 6 gallon betta tank (see photo).
I use this to get extra lighting while I do lashes and its soo helpful! Especially when its time to take pics ?? I love it, definitely recommend!
Perfect for nighttime knitting when I dont want light to wake everyone else up! The clamp is very strong with so it really is pretty sturdy even on a teenie little ledge. It also has foam padding so Im not afraid to damage the furniture (even more that is. Antique, heirloom sewing table.) the power cord is long enough and I really like the light color and brightness variations.
The topside of the light does get warm during use - not burn-you hot but warmer than you would expect from LED lights. They are legit LEDs though - I checked (see picture). It sometimes flickers which is really annoying when reading a book - a power source issue? I also changed out the lens from the provided opaque white one for a clear one that I made from a plastic to-go container so that it would be brighter since I use this for knitting & crocheting. The gripper is very strong and the neck is sturdy with no drooping.I'm considering trading it in for the upgraded model but I don't know that it would really be any better, and the upgrade doesn't come with a power plug.
