My third time buying a light similar to this. This one works great

This is a great desk lamp and I use it anytime I'm doing paperwork. I wanted something that would not take up a lot of surface space and that I could turn on or off with just a flick of my hand. I've had some desk lamps that I had to drag the cord up from the side of the desk to access the switch and found that very inconvenient. I don't need a large, hinged, arm as used on a drafting table so this is just perfect. BTW - it says it uses E12 bulbs. I had to research what type of bulb that is....and it turns out that it is just a smaller size screw-in end that you can buy anywhere: bargain, grocery, hardware, etc.. ...also most of the bulbs I found DID NOT have that designation on the packaging.

Great lamp for a computer desk.

I bought IKEA RYET E12 LED 400 Lumen bulb(2) for this.You must buy E12 base bulbs as stated on product salepage.The Shade is wrapped and boxed seperate within the box.I searched bags and box for a holder to find that the shade holder ring is hand tight threaded onto the socket.You just unscrew the ring.Slip Shade over socket and reapply the ring hand tighten down.Good Idea to use a tissue or something when handling your light bulb so oil from hands doesnt interfere with heat produced by LED.Very please with this lamp.The base is heavy enough my Cats cannot crash it around easily.Perfect and Excellent Value.
